Hi all. Just want to say that Open Mic last night was really great. Solo performers, Spoken word, trumpet, djembe, piano, blues, originals, covers, and 2 big jams that included 6 players at once. Phew…great fun. If you missed it come down next week. Still the best open mic in town!

We have a lot of presents under our tree…and to keep you in the holiday spirit, every woman who comes dressed in a not-so-everyday-sensual fashion, receives a special cocktail to fit the mood. Our amazing doggie has just begun singing again…which leads me to list his top 3 favorite sing-along-songs

3. Underground-Balkan BeatBox

The top 2 are surefire sing-alongs, but the third position rotates often. Next time he gets the urge, I’ll let you know what got his motor running. Samoyeds are really great talkers and singers. Come down and run your hands through his fur and witness his amazing voice!

Well, we all love KM’s weather in general, but today’s cold blast has made me almost forget the past and the Spring City’s fair complected reputation…BRRRRRRRRR! I know many of you out there are wasting valuable energy units on your space heaters in your concrete bunker apartments that somehow seem colder than the great outdoors. So, why not come down and have a beer in our lovely living room style bar? We make hot drinks too and we have an industrial strength, gas powered patio heater to keep things warm while you recline in our lovely “old wood” (as YuJia puts it) apportioned pub. Tuesday night’s especially good in that our packed little rumpus room stays cozy courtesy of added elbow rubbing to the tunes of your friend’s first foray into expressing him/herself on one of our acoustic guitars.

Valentins Weisbier…best beer for the kuai in KM?

Okay…tired of reading “18Y tall cans of Valentin’s Weisbier” at the end of every post? Well, too bad. We think this is a much much much superior alternative to the locally-made (LanCang, etc.) and the not-so-locally-made (TsingDao, Kingstar) bottom-of-the-menu beers in KM’s watering holes.
